Almost Halfway Through the Year
Posted by Tara MeShale on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 Under: Work from Home
So I'm almost halfway through the year and it seems that just as things were starting to pick up in January, they began falling apart again. Everything from traffic tickets to having my license suspended altogether. Not having any gas money to complete mystery shops or inspections was my biggest issue considering the amount of driving involved in both, especially the inspections. I only recently began work on a very lucrative contract with an inspection company, but have had to essentially retire due to seemingly everything working against me. Now I'm back to square one. I'm applying for straight jobs, but in the meantime I'm also looking into more work at home opportunities and stepping up my game on the online activities until I can get back up on my feet.
I'm still active with the PTC sites and I'm learning more everyday. Here's what I've cashed out so far:
Neobux - 10/29/2014 - $4.58
Probux - 3/27/2014 - $5.34
Clixsia - 3/29/2014 - $1.00
Neobux - 4/29/2014 - $3.17
Probux - 4/29/2014 - $5.08
Globalbux - 4/30/2014 - $4.90
Now, some of you may look at that as only chump change, which it is, but I see it as potential. I see it as proof that these sites really do pay and with enough time and effort, can be very lucrative. I only spend about 10-15 minutes on each site a day, so I really haven't given up much to earn what I have earned so far. I'm usually sitting in front of the television or multitasking doing something else while I'm working these sites. I'm determined to get out of this debt slavery and I'm going to keep clicking on ads and doing surveys along with whatever job I can secure for myself until I accomplish my goal. Are you curious about Paid to Click? Read more here.
Also, as another career path that will actually be safer for me than field inspections is court research. I've been reading into it and it seems like an opportunity that may work for me. Inspections do have an element of danger, especially since now I'm expecting a child. Spending a few hours a week in a courthouse researching public records may be just what I need. Possibly a lot less stressful than inspections, as well. There are several companies hiring researchers as independent contractors, so I'll still have the freedom to set my own schedule. I'll update the blog with more information as I learn about it. So, that's where I am right now. Working and learning as much as possible to escape this cycle of poverty and debt.
