Every Penny Counts...Still

A couple of years ago I wrote an article titled "Every Penny Counts." The focus was on programs like InboxDollars and how many people start with a program such as that and quit soon after because the money doesn't add up as quickly as they would like. The thing is, I've seen plenty of testimonials from people who have earned hundreds or thousands of dollars using sites like these. I personally have earned a few checks with them, so I know it is possible.
A lot has changed with InboxDollars over the years, so the program is slightly different now from when I first wrote that article. In short, InboxDollars used to send out several emails everyday worth around $0.02. You could earn money by completing offers and taking surveys, as well, but if you only wanted to open emails, then you would be waiting a long time for your first check. The minimum amount you need to cashout is $30. I've been a member for years and I've cashed out a few times. Mostly from the paid emails and a few surveys here and there. I eventually upgraded my account to Golden, which allows me to receive referral commissions from members who joined the site but were not referred by anyone. The point that I made then, that I'm still making now is that every penny counts. There was very little time invested for the $30 I cashed out for every few months, so I got $30 that I would not have had otherwise. Two cents is two cents, which can add up over time. Now I don't work with InboxDollars as much as I used to, but I am still an active member. I currently have $28.64. I don't believe they still send out the emails (I haven't gotten any), but they have surveys, a search toolbar and a cashback program that can earn you a good deal of money if you participate. You can also earn by signing up for offers.
I've said all of the above to say that over the past two weeks I've really been getting into the swing of things on the PTC sites. I'm a member of nine different paid to click sites. I have them all bookmarked and I keep all of my bookmarked sites separated into folders. Everyday I go to my bookmarks folder for PTCs and I go down the list of sites. I click on every available link and monitor my earnings and referrals. All of the sites have a referral program where I can earn a bonus or commission from the people that I refer, but some of the sites allow for its members to rent referrals for a small fee. You don't have to invest your own money, but you can invest the money you earn on the site. For instance, I've been a member of Probux since July 30. I reached over $0.60 on August 8. The price to rent three referrals is $0.60, so I used the money that I earned to rent the referrals. Today I am back up to $0.50 because of my own clicks and the clicks of my referrals. Over the course of the next few weeks I'll earn even more because I plan to rent another three referrals this week. If I replicate that on several different paid to click sites, then I'll have a nice semi-passive income. I say it's semi-passive because in order to earn from your referrals you are required to remain active with the site on a daily or almost daily basis. The amount of time that it takes me to work through all nine sites is roughly an hour to two hours depending on the number of advertisements each has available for me to click. Simple as that. I may only be clicking for pennies (or less than) now, but over the next few weeks and months I'll have more than just a few pennies to my name. Many people join these sites and believe that they're only good for an extra $1 or $2 a month and that they don't have the time to invest to make it worth their while, but they are sadly mistaken. Some days I sit right in front of the television with my laptop and before I know it I'll have all of my paid to click work complete, even with the added task of monitoring referrals in approximately an hour. I've also joined a program called ClickTrackProfit or CTP for short (a FREE program) that has great training that is helping me learn more about getting direct referrals and how to market online. Even watching the training videos don't take much time as most are about three minutes or less. The point is like that old saying, "A penny saved is a penny earned." Or in this case, a penny earned is a penny, or nickel or dime or dollar earned. Like I tell my friends a family, there's money to be had, we just have to get it.
