How I Make $30 a Month with Clixsense

Update 11/20/2017: I no longer use Clixsense. Their system changed dramatically and I earn more money with other website, so I made the decision close the account.

As a single mother I have never had the issue of having too many diapers, too many wipes, too much food or too much anything when it comes to my toddler's needs. Extra money is always needed and when I get it, it goes a long way. I work part-time and supplement my income by participating in surveys, mystery shopping, merchandising and whatever else I can get my hands on.
Clixsense is one of my favorite sites to make a little extra cash without much thought or effort. Let me explain:

In 2009 I joined Clixsense. I was a college student and I wasn't interested in working a traditional job. I've always had an entrepreneurial mindset and had been doing paid surveys online for a couple of years by that time. Clixsense has changed a lot since then, but it's core has remained the same. It is a site where users can get paid anywhere from $0.001 to $0.02 every time they click on an advertisement.

Now, I can imagine how insulting that may seem to a lot of people. Who wants to work for pennies or less? Here's why I do it: Over the course of an hour I can click on roughly 100 different ads/websites and earn half a cent for each one. Fifty cents an hour?! My time is worth more than that! Well, if I were leaving the house or doing something that required more thought and effort, then I'd feel the same way. However, keeping up with a busy toddler takes up quite a bit of time. Washing dishes, keeping the house somewhat clean and doing the laundry takes up the rest of my day when I'm not trying to keep my daughter occupied. While I have breaks from her because she's finally decided to entertain herself, she's eating a snack or taking a nap, I'm on
Clixsense or a similar program on my computer and either browsing social media on my phone or watching television. I'm mindlessly clicking on websites and advertisements while I'm doing something I otherwise would not be paid to do, which is nothing. Realistically, I sit down for a few minutes to a half hour at a time and click on a few advertisements then stop to do other things. Over the course of a day, I'll have between fifty cents and a dollar.

Once I reach eight dollars in my account I can request to be paid via Paypal and within a week I'll have my money. Or I could let my balance build up and cashout whenever I'm ready. They also give the option of receiving a check or using a different payment processor like Payzaa. Eight dollars a week is very realistic. At eight dollars a week, I end up with $32 a month. Thirty-two dollars that I didn't have to put much effort into. Thirty-two dollars that I did not need to leave my home to earn. Thirty-two dollars that I can use towards putting gas in my car to drive to work, or purchase diapers or other things my daughter needs. Thirty-two dollars almost covers my cellphone bill, which is $50 per month.

Will I continue using Clixsense forever? Maybe. It's so easy to do the bare minimum and earn a little extra cash, there's not much reason for me not to do it. I don't find it tedious at all considering I'm usually
doing something else while I'm clicking on ads. It's not as passive as I would like for it to be, but it doesn't take much effort at all.

Here's a little more info about how to make money on Clixsense. Clicking on ads is just one way of earning money. Other ways include: signing up for trial offers, watching videos, completing surveys and listening to music. You can also earn money by referring new members. There's a daily checklist that members can complete to earn an extra performance/activity bonus. Also, there's the ability to upgrade your account for a fee, but you also increase your opportunities to earn. There's no money needed to get started, however, and you can earn a great deal of money whether you're a free or a paid member. I have read reports from other members of Clixsense who claim to earn at least $10 per day, which comes out to $300 per month. Some members claim to earn closer to $1,000 per month. It's all a matter of how much time and effort one is really willing to put into the site. For me, $30-$50 is a good, realistic amount considering what I'm willing to put forth. In a year that adds up to between $360-$500. I don't know about anyone else, but that's a lot of money for me. That covers the cost of a three day cruise vacation! However, if you're looking for more money than that, then it is very possible to find it on Clixsense. I've seen plenty of reports from people claiming to make a couple hundred dollars a month. These people also treat Clixsense more like a job and dedicate a certain amount of hours to answering surveys, completing tasks, watching videos, clicking on ads and referring new members.

About Me

LeTara Moore Since 2005 I have made thousands of dollars online. I've tried almost everything from paid surveys, paid to click, freelance writing, mystery shopping, merchandising and more. I am always looking for new ways to make money. Now I'm a mother and I have even more reason to go further in my online adventures. The focus of this site is not only to show some of the easier ways to make a little extra cash, but also to journal some of the ups and downs of side-hustling and attempting to work for myself. Most of what I post probably won't make you rich, but it will be something to help ease some of the financial strain and won't take too much time. I love to read and write and I also run a blog that showcases my creative writing. I really enjoy learning and I find the best way for me to learn is to share what I've gained with others. DISCLAIMER: Many of the links I post are affiliate links, meaning I may receive financial compensation as a result of click-thrus and signups. However, I only post links to websites and programs I trust and I provide honest feedback. I only post my honest experiences with any site I promote.
